DatatrackerEDT has developed an enterprise-scale data management software product called the Electronic Data Tracker. The Electronic Data Tracker is a rapid development environment that can be used as a foundation for building high speed data tracking and communication networks. The building blocks of the Data Tracker allow us to “jump start” any program for remote monitoring, control, tracking, and mapping of assets. We are able to provide both “Thin” and “Thick” client applications quickly and effectively.

1) The Data Server is a RAM based high speed proprietary database server. The server features a non-polling (non-query) record refresh feature that keeps track of which data record(s) a client is viewing and updates them asynchronously when a record in their view is updated. The Data Server implements a relational non-hierarchical data structure that allows user defined record types. The server maintains a record history archive for each record in the database so that the changes made to a single record over time can be reviewed. All data passed between client and server is secured using 256bit AES encryption.

2) The Data Tracker is a database client featuring an extensible GUI that can be used as the basis for a custom application. Custom applications can be quickly created by combining existing software modules with custom application specific development. Existing modules include: Mappers (MapInfo, Microsoft Mappoint, ESRI , 3D, etc) , GPS (NMEA0183), E-Mail, SMS , SATCOM( Axonn, Iridium, CMDC, EMS, Satamatics , +others) , Microsoft Office Integration (Excel) , Logistics , Flight Planning, Image Viewers (Wavelet decompression), Encryption/Decryption and many more.

An example use of the software is in a vehicle and asset tracking system. Using EDT’s software, Miletus Associates, Inc. of Albuquerque, NM has developed a vehicle tracking and mapping application known as TracerLink TAV. The application provides current and updated information to the end customer on a graphical mapping display. When a customer logs into the TracerLink servers, the position of all their vehicles and assets are presented on the map display. As the position of the vehicle changes, any authorized users will see the position update in real-time.

The TracerLink administrator adds new vehicles to a dispatchers view by dragging an icon representing the vehicle into the dispatcher’s node. The type of mapping application or data viewer is also added the same way. Load dispatching is accomplished by dragging a "load" represented by an icon on the screen then dropping it onto a vehicle. A popup data viewer presents a form that contains much of the data filled in. A send button on the popup enables delivery to the vehicle over the defined communications channel.

Our network solutions provide customers with enterprise scalablity and support.
